Located a short taxi ride, 25 miles south of Loreto. This serene bay on the Marine Sanctuary is home to a tiny fishing village facing Danzante Island in the Sea of Cortez. As you enter the 10-acre seaside resort, you'll see nine charming hilltop suites perched dramatically atop a rocky, volcanic knoll facing the sea. Nestled among cardon and pithaya cacti, colorful bougainvilla and towering mesquite trees, the property is reminiscent of an old Mexican-style ranch by the sea. Commanding a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of mountains and sea, colorful hammocks sway gently on the terraces as eagles, ospreys, and marine birds circle and soar within touching distance. French doors lead to a quarried slate terrace, a burst of sea breezes and breathtaking views.

Danzante Ammenities

Wonderfully romantic and peaceful, Danzante is a departure experience. There is no internet, no email, no TV's, land phones or faxes, no computers. We do have cell phone service for limited use on the premises and many guest cell phones and Blackberries work, but are quite expensive. Each room features a private bathroom and shower, individual terraces with your own hammock, and comfortable king and queen beds. Your all-inclusive stay allows you to enjoy delicious Mexican-style meals featuring fresh seafood, local fruits and vegetables, organic produce from our garden, purified drinking water and ice, a happy hour festivities, and unguided kayaking, snorkeling and swimming from our secluded beach as well as unguided hiking in spectacular beach or canyon scenery. Optional fee activities include: guided horseback rides, (horses not a guaranteed activity as stock may be in inaccessible pasture without notice), guided canyon hikes, scuba diving, fishing, marine safaris at sea, dolphin and whale watching, island exploration and massage.
