Divorce Beach
This stretch of clean white sand is located on the Pacific side a short walk from Lover's Beach Playa del Amor. The locals call it Divorce Beach, because the water gets so rough here. It's extremely dangerous so don't venture in, or around the rocks where waves come crashing ashore. Waves have been known to pull people off the rocks and out to sea where rescue can take time. All that aside the beach is beautiful and is a perfect area for sunbathing.

El Arco de Cabo San Lucas
El Arco also known as the Arch of Poseideon is the most recognizable simble of Cabo san Lucas. It is seen on several postcards depicting Cabo San Lucas. The arch marks the entrance to a submarine canyon perfect for scuba diving. El Arco lies at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. During low tides one can walk through the arch to Playa de Amor, just make sure you get back before the tide comes back up. Many claim that El Arco looks like a Triceratops taking a drink of water.

Lands End
Lands End is name of a group of large rock formations that extend out into the ocean on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula. These gigantic rocks were carved by years of wind and water erosion. It comprises of Los frailes Roca Pelicanos and the most famous formation "El Arco", the formations together are named Finisterra or simply Lands End.

Playa de Amor
Hidden behind Cabo San Lucas' landmark, El Arco, or The Arch at Land's End is Playa del Amor - Lover's Beach! Lovers Beach is the most famous beach in Cabo. Access is only by water taxi or glass bottom boat from the Cabo San Lucas marina, and from Madano Beach, where kayaks are also for rent. Although it is a remote beach it gets crowded. This is a good place to have a picnic or to snorkel and it is safe for swimming. The Pacific side of Playa de Amor is called Divorce Beach.

Playa El Medano
Playa el Medano - Dune Beach begins at the east side of the harbor and extends along Cabo San Lucas Bay all the way to Villa del Palmar and Riu Palace Hotel. This is by far the most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas that is accessible by car. Medana Beach gets packed with sunbathers and swimmers. It is one of the few beaches in Cabo that are safe to swim year-round. Venders rent everything from jet skis to snorkels. Jewerly is also sold by local merchants on the beaches.

Playa Solmar
This wide stretch of white sand beach faces the Pacific Ocean and runs from the rocks at Land's End to the base of Pedregal to the West. Playa Solmar is not a great area for swimming due to the strong undertoe, however it is a great beach for sunbathing and wadding. This area is also lined with several hotels and restaurants. Access is via any of the hotels and resorts along this stretch of beach.

Sierra de La Laguna
The Sierra de la Laguna is a mountain range on the Baja California Peninsula of Mexico. The dry forests of Sierra de la Laguna are home to some 224 species of plants, half the reptiles and amphibians in the entire Cape Region. UNESCO has designated the Sierra de la Laguna a global biosphere reserve. This semi arid to temperate subhumid climate area represents highly important and contrasted ecosystems.

Spring Break
Cabo San Lucas ranks in the top five best places for spring break every year. MTV has hosted spring break in Cabo on several ocassions and it is also a popular spot for shows like Girls Gone Wild. In the U.S., spring break ranges from the end of February to mid-April, but most schools are out the first two weeks of March. The nightclubs and discos during spring Break are packed, you can expect to pay high cover charges to get into the bars or discos.

Whale Watching in Cabo San Lucas
Every winter, the grey whale heads 6,000 miles south to the warmer lagoons of Baja in January, February and March. Their main reason for heading south is to mate and give birth in the protected shallow lagoons in Baja. Cabo San Lucas is a good place to view these magnificent creatures. Gray whales are known to make a lively show, being naturally curious and social. The whales like to show off their young and sometimes even getting close enough to be petted.
