Foxploration (Titanic Museum)
Baja Studios was originally built for James Cameron's epic film, Titanic. The complex is located on 45 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, three miles south of Rosarito Baja California and 45 minutes south of San Diego. Here the world's largest filming tanks work in conjunction with stages, offices, scenery shops, dressing rooms, wardrobe facilities and other production areas to accomplish nearly any filming requirement.
Mission El Descanso
Mission El Descanso is also referred to as Mission San Miguel la Nueva was founded in 1817 among the Kumeyaay by Dominican missionary Tomas de Ahumada at a site 22 kilometers south of the present-day city of Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico. It was the next-to-last mission founded by the Dominicans, and the farthest north. Today only stone foundations and ruined adobe walls survive.
Rosarito Spring Break
During April and May the Rosarito Beach Hotel is packed with hundreds of college students anxiously awaiting to partake in the annual Rosarito Spring Break kickoff.
