Formerly Apisa, Fausto Polanco is a 15,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor showcase of truly unique furniture pieces and personal treasures, gathered from Guanajuato, Michoacan and Guadalajara. "Wow" is the operative word as one winds through a maze of artsy displays of one-of-a-kind deer antler chandeliers, enormous wooden armoires, flat iron and slate wall fountains, marble dining room tables, and living room sets upholstered with your choice of 300 elegant materials. The most impressive furniture is the mesquite wood pieces. This soft, dark wood is extraordinary and is brought in from central Mexico for chairs, consoles, and tables of various sizes. Expect significantly higher prices here than at other Baja shops, but these one-of-a-kind items are still far below stateside prices -- if you could even find the items. Fausto Polanco also ships.
