ATM and Money in Mexico
Mexico National Currency
The national currency of Mexico is the peso its exchange rate, in relation to the dollar, fluctuates from day to day (usually just a few cents). A good rule of thumb is for every 10 pesos it represents $1 U.S. dollar or simple a 10 to 1 conversion. There are one hundred Mexican cents (centavos) to every Peso. The symbol used for the peso is "$", which is sometimes annotated Mex$ to distinguish from U.S. dollars, while the 100 centavos into which it is divided are represented by "¢". Visitors may exchange money or traveler checks at any bank or at any money exchange house. Anyhow keep in mind, that U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere
