Greyhound Racing - Agua Caliente Race Track

Greyhound racing is the sport of racing greyhounds. The dogs chase a lure (an artificial hare or rabbit) on a track until they arrive at the finish line. The one that arrives first is the winner. Greyhound racing, with betting, has been a tradition in Tijuana for decades. You can see the dogs run daily at no charge at the Caliente Race Track. Races begin nightly at 7:45 p.m., with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Caliente Race track is a legal sports book and geyhound wagering establishment. Located in the Plaza Pueblo Amigo. The sports book in Tijuana get packed by San Diegans going down there to gamble and place bets on there favorite football, baseball, basketball team.
